PSOPRDEFN Audit

I've been told that Oracle doesn't support triggers on peoplesoft system tables.

I've been experiencing "random" audit oprid assignments when creating audit rows using a trigger.

The behavior seems related to eSuppliers who attempt to login to the system and lock their id's because they forgot their password.

The locking of the eSuppliers psoprdefn record invokes the trigger and sometimes has the audit oprid of our public oprid when they chose the Sign in Tile. Sometimes the assignment appears just to be someone in the buffer, not related to the event itself.

How does the "community" approach monitoring changes to PSOPRDEFN?
