VLAN segregation for Peoplesoft environment.

Hi All,

We have VLAN segregation activity planned for our env.


Brief intro about distributed Env:

PT: 8.53.27

Application: Peoplesoft FSCM 9.2

DB: MSSQL 2012

OS: Win 2012 R2


Goal: segregation of VLAN of LB, WEB, APP-PRCS(i.e. Appserver and Prcs will be on same LAN), DB


Impact : After VLAN segregation my LB/WEB/APP-PRCS/DB will be on different LAN. Private Ip will be changed(i.e. by default port will be blocked ) and public Ip will not change.


Question: What ports will be required to be opened b/w LB-> Web, Web-> App, App-> Prcs, App-> DB and Prcs-> DB. 

Additionally port to be opened unidirectionally or Bidirectionally ?
