PeopleTools 8.49 and AIX 7.2

Hi,

We are currently on 8.49 PeopleTools (with app HRMS 8.8). As of now PT 8.49 is only certified with IBM AIX 6.1 and it is not certified with AIX 7.2. With IBM AIX 6.1 is going out of support, we are looking into moving our current PT 8.49/HRMS 8.8 to IBM AIX 7.2 environment knowing that it is not a certified path for PT 8.49. We were trying to upgrade PT 8.49 to PT 8.56 by keeping HRMS 8.8 intact, but running into some issues. We want to try at least get our operating system to current.

Has any customer looked into this or did this move (PT 8.49/HRMS 8.8 on AIX 6.1 to AIX 7.2)? Are there any issues we should be concerned with? Right now, I am researching if this can be achieved or not, is this is a good idea or bad idea.
