Target Environment Patch changed during middle of PUM update

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) 7 comments

we are doing PUM Full update from most recent image and carried to half way of Test environments . Due to securit fixes oracle released, we did an emergency Tools Patch to Production. Since my Target is on higher version than where we started (building change package,inital pass and mtp and CA version) ,can i just use the same PUM udpate Change Package with new Change assistant version(with production version) and continue PUM update . restart PUM update again will cause lot of work and not a feasible solution that everyone likes. just want to know
