How can the same generated HTML display differently?

Hello,

We're looking into the Fluid Expense Approvals -- when you click on the Expense Details link, it brings you to the Expense Summary page. If you click Expense Details, it doesn't have the image link to open the left side panel which has all the expenses. -- Do a view source and copy the source HTML.

Click View Summary then click Expense Details again. You will now see the image (id="PT_SIDE$PIMG") to open the left side panel with all the expenses. -- Do a view source and copy the source HTML.

Compare both HTMLs generated. I got the same generated HTML except for a state value related to history.
