Deferent versions of RMAN to talk to each other is not possible

Hi I am trying connect to a remote server using RMAN, 19c to 12c and I am getting below error. Is there a way around this, though the compatibility document say it has to be equal or less than the database version that you are connecting to :). I am trying to setup a central location to collect the statistic without moving files back and forth. Any thoughts are appreciate
