Resource Assignment Costs are not profiling correctly
Scenario:
A linearly distributed Resource Assignment (over the life of an Activity) has a Resource Rate Change from "100/day" to "0/day" mid-way through the Activity.
The Total Resource Assignment cost is calculated correctly : 1/2-Budget*100 + 1/2-Budget*0, and is displayed accurately in the Activity View / Resource Assignment Tab.
In all other views, the Total Resource Cost is distributed over the life of the Activity, implying costs are being generated after the date at which the Rate becomes "0/day". This affects:
Activity View + Activity Usage or Resource Usage Profile and Spreadsheet
Resource Assignment View.
It is currently believed that this only way around this would be through a) Splitting the Activity, or, b) Splitting the Resource Assignment and using Drive Activity Dates = False : both of these options are unacceptable due to i) the impact it has on schedule maintenance, and ii) reconcilability to the Baseline and EVM configurations.
