How to remove reject button in workflow

Hi,

We have a requirement to remove reject button in AP inv workflow.

I have downlaoded workflow. APINVAPR.

Added new custom lookup with only Approve.

Modified message to use newly created custom lookup.

This is working fine. After few days customizations are gone and the reject button is back. When I am looking at the workflow file the custom lookup is there but how ever the messages have standard lookup instead of custom lookup.

Now my question is.

What is the best whay to implement this kind of customizations.

How to make sure my customizations wont be replaced.

Please advise.
