SHA256 Algorithm in SQR

Could you please let us know whether we can generate HASH value by using SHA256 algorithm to read each line in the file and generate a HASH value using SQR in PeopleSoft.

It should not generate for a file (ex: sample.txt) whereas needs to generate a single value by reading each line in the file. Kindly help me if anyone have done this.
