How to Enable TLS for PeopleSoft LDAP Tools 8.53?

We need to have LDAP work on 636 with TLSv1.1 or 1.2 but our AIX application servers are forcing us to use SSLv3. We need enforce PeopleSoft to use TLS, how can this be accomplished? Does anyone know of any Java settings that can do this for Java 7 ?
