[SOLVED] RMAN-06908 - allocate channel ch2 type 'sbt_tape' - RAC, Standard Edition 12.2.0.1

Is there a way to prevent second channel allocation in RMAN script for an Archive Log backup?

Commvault is sending us warning messages about jobs that were completed but with one or more errors. I've noticed that some jobs were completed without any warnings while others included RMAN-06908 in their respective logs.

When only one channel is allocated - it's fine, but every time the script is trying to allocate ch2 type sbt_tape, we're getting the following message later in the RMAN output:

RMAN-06908: warning: operation will not run in parallel on the allocated channels
RMAN-06909: warning: parallelism require Enterprise Edition
