Bypass Approval Steps in AWE for certain users

Dear All,

We have a customized AWE process with 4 levels of Approval and is working properly. There is a requirement that Level 4 user can approve the request at any given point, regardless it is pending/not routed to previous levels (1-3). We used a separate path, but it is not working. Even if the Level 4 approves the request, overall approval process is not changing to Approved.

Please advise on how this can be achieved.
