Sending correspondence by e-mail from work item (send to printer)

Hi all!

Our collection strategy contains work items in the category type “Send to Printer” and a xdo template has been applied to these work items. At site level IEX: Deliver Dunning Letters is set to Batch. So, after running Workflow Background Process - IEX: Strategy Fulfillment Mailer we run IEX: Bulk XML Delivery Manager producing a PDF document for all customers. Some of these customers want to receive our correspondence as printed letter by (snail) mail, others as an attachment within an e-mail.

May we expect that, if we have set the profile options IEX: SMTP From and IEX: SMTP Host and define a contact and email address with a dunning purpose, that an e-mail will be send to the customer?
