How tightly coupled are PeopleTools and Elasticsearch minor patches?

Is it safe for us to assume that any version of Elasticsearch 7.10.0.858 is compatible with any version of PeopleTools 8.58 (above the minimum version 8.58.13)?

Reviewing the latest Elasticsearch Readme, the current “PeopleSoft Search and Kibana Analytics Home Page (Doc ID 2205540.2)”, and the certification matrix’s “PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.58 is certified with Elasticsearch 7.10.0 on Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) 2019”, I see no reference to the compatibility of more specific patch levels.

Currently CPUJan2022 shows an Elasticsearch CVE scored at 9.8 while my PT scored “only” an 8.3, but the latter requires significantly more testing and may be rolled into the latest PUM as is our habit. Earlier this week for my Windows OS, PT 8.58.17 and ES 7.10.0.858_03 were released. I typically patch my ES during my PT patching since they have appeared to me to be related. Does it matter which order we apply these two patches if the patching may occur weeks apart?
