Question about configuring APP Home in Change Assistant

We want to separate this out so we follow the requirement for the separation of the app, tools and cust homes. Currently we have all home combines but as we move to tools 8.59 and FSCM image 42 we want separate them out. We have upgraded our tools and have them in a separate home but our App home is combines. My question is do the image contain all the executables such as COBOLS, SQR's and such that we can abandon our old app Home
