Non-SSL Kibana used in SSL PIA

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) 4 comments

Our tools is PT8.58.14. We are trying to use Kibana (Elastic Search 7.10/Kibana7.10) as non-ssl, going thru PIA that is SSL. We keep getting error "Mixed Content at https.....was loaded over HTTPS but requested an insecure frame http://machine name:5601/app/dashboard.... this request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS


We use elastic search successfully here and curious why kibana is enforcing this? Is there a work-around that does not require kibana to go ssl?
