Peoplesoft Query - Help pulling job data history rows for employees with current payroll status

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Is there an easy way to create a query with one criteria based on current status, and then pull the history for another criteria for people in that current status?

This is what I'm hoping to do.

I would like to run a query of all employees with a payroll status of P (leave with pay). And within that current group, I want to query job history to find the most recent row with a specific action reason from a list. It's usually the most recent row, but in some cases there might be an employee on leave but have a more recent job data row that is for something other than a leave.
