.CSV to .XLS file conversion

Hello,

We are using the Pentaho tool to convert .csv files to .xls for sending to the payroll vendor. We have seen some issues with the Pentaho tool and looking for an alternate approach to generate the files from .csv to .xls.

Could you please provide some input on this?
