Journal Spreadsheet using JRNL1_WS.xlsm import shows success, but no journal is created

When using this new spreadsheet for importing directly, the message displayed is Import OK - <sheet name>. After clicking OK, the JrnlLog entry shows success in the status column after clicking OK, but still no journal and there is no journal to review in jrnl_header or Jrnl_ln.

We are on PeopleSoft FSCM PUM 41. tools 8.59
