RMAN Error

in Database Backup and Recovery (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

I have a freshly installed Oracle 19c Standard Edition. I am getting the following error message when trying to log in to RMAN:

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

RMAN-00554: initialization of internal recovery manager package failed

RMAN-06429: TARGET database is not compatible with this version of RMAN

RMAN-06618: RMAN client and database release mismatch; indicated database release is 19.3.0.0

What could be the problem? Could anyone please point me in the right direction here?
