Fluid Approvals and Classic Approvals

Using: PeopleSoft FS/SCM 9.2 (PUM 39), Tools 8.58.10

Question: Can you "activate" Fluid Approvals but still allow some transactions to use Classic Approvals?

One of the issues we ran into during our upgrade was that IF we added the Fluid Approval roles to a user, transactions that now had a fluid approval page were routed to that Fluid Approval Page.

Unfortunately (out of my control) we have some transactions that use classic approval pages (heavily customized).

Without the Fluid Approval role some things still work (for example if a user is sent a link from Form and Approval Builder form they can still see the transaction).
