Data Migration Workbench Project Updates

We are using Data Migration Workbench to migration Custom templates for Onboarding Activity guides. When we add data sets to a Project and later add additional configurations to the items in the dataset, how do we sync/update the project to include the new data.

For instance, I added custom template configuration to the project via dataset and later I added a new step in the template configuration, how do I ensure this step will be a part of the dataset that is a project?
