Password control

Hi,

is this statement correct about password expiration date set up is correct?

"When we reset our password, the reset date is being stored and is being used to compare with the current password configuration whenever we log in"

For example, on 05/01/2021, I reset my password and password configuration on 05/01/2021 was 90 days expiration, 7 character minimum. So my password will be expired on 08/01/2022. On 06/01/2021, password configuration was updated to 365 days and 12 character minimum, When i logged in on 06/01/2021, my password follow the new configuration which means my password now will be expired on 05/01/2022 correct?
