Antivirus solution for PeopleSoft Content Validation
Our PeopleSoft application suite is on AWS Cloud. The standard security application today for AWS EC2 is Crowdstrike.
We have several business processes where attachments are uploaded in HCM and FSCM. We have restricted the attachment file types (e.g. .exe) through configurations. However, there is an observation that the EICAR string can still be uploaded as a “.txt” or “.pdf” since there is no client side content validation. This poses severe security threat.
Specifically, CrowdStrike is the security solution used on AWS Cloud. This is a static antivirus scanning carried out by an ICAP server on ICAP clients. Is anyone using CrowdStrike for PeopleSoft Content Validation?
