Can you use wildcards in the QAS_EXECUTEQRY_REST_GET web service?

We are trying to utilize the REST API web service QAS_EXECUTEQRY_REST_GET. We need the ability to use a wildcard in the prompt_fieldvalue but are running into issues. Either no results are returned or we get an internal 500 error. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thank you!
