Cannot delete person record

Good day!

One of the employees was rehired to the company on 03 Aug 2022.

After that HR by mistake created new application (applications that stored in person record. We can find it by clicking 'others' button then choose 'Application') to this employee on 04 Aug 2022. This caused ending the first record that was created on 03 Aug 2022 and opening a new one on 04 Aug 2022 with Application Type “Employee.Applicant”.

If we are trying to change Latest Start Date of the last record to 04 Aug 2022, we are getting error ‘APP-PAY-06841: Person changes exist between the old date and the new date’.

We need to delete the last record with Person Types “Employee.Applicant”. If we will open the previous record that was created on 03 Aug 2022 and will click “delete” button we won’t get an option that will let us to delete the next record. The reason might be the application that was created on 04 Aug 2022. Once we are trying to delete the application, we are getting an error ‘APP-PER-289081: You do not have permission to delete this application record’.
