Webgate for OAM and Apache Tomcat

Question:

Our current To-Be Environment (in AWS cloud) is as follows

Apache 2.4

Tomcat 7

ORDS 21.1

Oracle Access Manager 10.1.4.3.0 WebGate

Oracle DB 19c

Oracle Apex 21.1

Our current setup is Tomcat which hosts Apex , we would want to connect to OAM from this setup (no weblogic) ? Could you please advise if we can connect OAM from tomcat ? Could it be possible to use any type of HTTP service to connect to OAM ?
