Move solaris 11.3 zone to a 11.3 kernel zone under a 11.4 global zone

Hi,

I am trying to move a zone from an Solaris 11.3 on X5-2 HW to a X8-2 HW where I have installed Solaris 11.4, and then installed Solaris 11.3 as a kernel zone.

So far so good.

I move the zone on the X5-2 to this new kernel zone, and I have used archiveadm and moved the uar-file and restored the zone on kernel-zone.

archiveadm create -esr -z z1bck /backup/z1bck.uar

Everything works fine, except the network.


The zone will not boot up with the error:

root@kzone1:~# zoneadm -z z1bck boot

zone 'z1bck': error: net0: failed to create VNIC: operation not supported
