Enabling SSL on Elastic Search and Kibana

Hi I have a client that's upgrading to PT 8.59. They want to enabled SSL on elastic and Kibana that is installed on the same server.

In Peoplebooks the doc is instructing you to generate a csr for both elastic and kibana separately.

Do I have to generate two csr for this implementation, or can I perform option #2 below ?

2# Since both components are installed on the same server can just generate a csr for Elastic and installed the root and cert received. After , take the trust keystore from elastic and copy that to the kibana keystore location.
