Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. If this policy affects you, act now to change the email address that is associated with your Oracle (and community) account. Is it possible to have both LDAP and DB Authentication

Dear All,

We are implementing LDAP and SSO functionality in CS 9.2, PT 8.58. Have couple of queries, will appreciate if you can please advise on them:

Can both LDAP {for internal users} and DB {for external users} Authentication be enabled.
If yes, what will be the sequence of authentication: LDAP followed by DB or DB followed by LDAP.
If No, then how can we enable both LDAP and DB authentication. There are both internal and external users.
Any other important point to consider during the implementation.
