Can new feature in Worklist Popup be turned off? 12.2.11

EBS 12.2.11 includes a new feature in the Worklist Popup (the Bell icon at the top of the page) which allows users to Approve or Reject notifications directly in the popup.

My question is whether this can be disabled via a profile option or other method? The concern is that users will approve documents without having actually read the document that is being approved.

The functionality is described in the Release Notes as:

3.2 New Enhancement: Respond with Yes/No or True/False in My Worklist Pop-Up

In this release, the My Worklist pop-up available from the global Worklist button supports additional actions on a notification directly from the pop-up. You can now use quick action buttons to respond to notifications that require a Yes or No response and notifications that require a True or False response.
