Error in Cobol Compilation on new Linux servers

I have been getting error in compiling any and all cobol

pscbl_mf.mak : Compiling PTPUPPER.cbl ...

Execution error : file 'direct'

error code: 114, pc=0, call=1, seg=0

114    Attempt to access item beyond bounds of memory (Signal 11)

Following parameters are already set:

export COBDIR=/opt/microfocus

export COBPATH=$PS_HOME/cblbin:$PS_APP_HOME/cblbin

export PATH=$PATH:$COBDIR/bin

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$COBDIR/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
