Installing NEW PUM on Existing Server (Native OS, Windows, DPK)

Windows Server 2019

Are there any special steps (if so what) to install a PUM via a DPK for Windows on a server that already has a PUM on it.

For example, we have a windows server with PUM39 FS/SCM. Can I just install PUM45 on the same server? Do I need to do anything special (shut down existing). Do i need to uninstall PUM 39? If so how?
