Latest Tax update and Image update query?

Experts,

My client is on latest tax update which is 22-D but want HCM image to be upgraded to Image#38. Would that cause issue as the Tax updates and related tax update objects are already on latest release?

Hi - Since you dont want to goto latest image but still you have tax update from latest image. So i would suggest to use latest image(HCM PUM 44) to apply the images from 29 to 38. so PUM dependency calculator will pull required bugs and package it.

You should consider TAX update as a bug fix so pum is designed to apply the individual fix and at any point in time we can goto higher image or get current.

Hello User162173,

How did you take 22-D?   Did you take 22-D from an Image 44 PUM Source or did you do it via PRP on a previous image?   

If you took it from 44 you definitely should NOT switch back to an Image 37 Image and take more updates. That can cause problems. You should use the image you started taking updates from to do your updates you should not go back to an older PUM Source.
