What will happen if "Workflow Control Queue Cleanup" is showing down in OAM?

What are the implications/effects if the Workflow Control Queue Cleanup is not scheduled to run?

Can someone please help me understand the effects of this?

Will the data be piling up in the queue tables like below eg, if this is down?

apps.AQ$_WF_BPEL_QTAB_H 

apps.AQ$_WF_BPEL_QTAB_I

and WF_JAVA_DEFERRED.


We have huge data in these tables. Is this because of "Workflow Control Queue Cleanup" being down ?
