Unexpected results with a Component Interface

We are implementing a web service based on the Job Data CI, using the Component Interface Classes. When calling the Get function in the CI, it is pulling in the level one current Record for Job data, but if the Child record COMPENSATION has multiple effective sequenced records, it is only pulling in the minimum sequenced record, and not the max sequenced record. Has anyone seen this behavior and is this a bug?
