How do I resolve ORA-00205 on oracle windows 10

in Windows Oracle Data Access Components (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Database will not startup on a connected to an idle instance.it starts but with an

ORA-00205: error in identifying control file, check alert log for more info

Checking the alert log details are as follows:

the alert log out put is below

ORA-00210:cannot open the specified control file

ORA-00202: Control file'F\app\oracle\oradata\control44.ctl.

ORA-27041:Unable to open file

OSD-04004-Unable to open file

O/S-Error:(os5) Acess is denied

ORA-205 signalled during: ALTER DATABASE MOUNT
