What about Drop Zone Page Activate PeopleCode?

I added Page Activate PeopleCode to my drop zone page, and it doesn't fire. Is there any way to make this fire? If you have any pointers I would greatly appreciate it. Or if you have any helpful information about adding event mapping to modal pages that would be helpful too.
