General Ledger 9.2 PUM 28 Timespans for ADB Ledger

We're using the Average Daily process and have come across a configuration question and hope someone has a solution for it.

We need guidance on how to set up Time Spans for ABD ledger. For example, TimeSpan = ADB (prior month). Each time we move to another month end close with different day count, for instance, October to November, we have to change Start/End Period from -31 (October) to -30 (November) so that reports show the correct ADB balance.

Please let me know if you have a workaround solution for this.
