Adding Signature to PeopleSoft BIP PDF reports

Hello Everyone,

We are trying to generate few custom Employee letters in ESS using BIP (RTF template, Output - PDF). On approving such ESS letter requests, we wanted to add approver's signature to the letter. I believe, adding the signature as an image works but is there any other option to accomplish this?
