Tools Upgrading to 8.58 - SQR migration

Hi Team,

As we are currently in 8.56 tools, I can see there are around 1400 sqr and sqc's in PS_HOME directory. After I installed 8.58.19 tools in new servers the PS_HOME folder have only 220 sqr,sqc's.

In Existing production PeopleTools 8.56.15 PS_HOME : 1444 sqc and sqr files

In New upgraded servers PeopleTools 8.58.19 PS_HOME : 220 sqc and sqr files


So question is -

Do we need to migrate old ps_home files to new servers and apply the new 8.58.19 ps_home sqr/sqc's ? I am not able to understand why that many programs are not delivered in new home, is that new version tools deliver only 220 and we need to apply on top of older home sqr ?
