Is The Deal Income Calculated for item components when purchasing with Buyer Packs?

Oracle Retail Merchandise Foundation CS - Version 23

Customer want to use bill back rebates based on purchases at approval time. Customer purchases from vendors using buyer packs. Buyer Packs cannot be linked with deals.

Can anyone clarify whether Deal Income will be calculated for item components or not? (Please assume that all items components are linked with the deal.)
