Peoplesoft - Recurrence definition - Start Request date not working

Hello,

We've setup a recurrence with the following details:

Recurrence Pattern = Monthly

Day of Month = 1

Recurrence = 3

Start Request Date = 6/1/2023


When i try schedule a process and run it today, the recurrence is already working even though the start request date that was set is future dated - Date: 6/1/2023.

Please advise
