What is the recommended # of journal lines to import journals via spreadsheet ?

Business is currently using Write File to import journals. Now they wanted to make use of the Import Now. Based on the experience of other customers, what is the recommended # of journal lines that can be imported directly without any risks of long runs and/or hang ?
