Is the selectbykeyeffdt method supported in temp tables?

We are trying to find if the selectbykeyeffdt record class method is supported in temp tables?

While researching this issue, we found that Oracle mentions that this method is not supported for "Note: You can't use this method in dynamic views." but does this mean it's not supported in temp. tables.
