PeopleSoft Data Archive Manager
We would like to empower our functional team members to run archiving, and subsequently the delete process, at their discretion & desired interval/schedule.
Once technical team sets up archiving (Archive Obj + Query + Template)--
- Is there *any* way to restrict users to specific archive templates? (i.e. User A can only select "Template 1", "Template 3", and User B can only select "Template 2", etc.)
- Should the history table be in a different database space in order to mitigate/eliminate adverse impact (e.g. hit on performance if/when history tables grow too big)
Running Campus Solutions 9.2 PUM27 / Tools v8.59.11 (8.60, in the near future). We have a functional team for each of the various areas (Student Records, Financials, etc.)
