Does Journal Generator Look for Subsystem Open Period Setup to populate the Accounting Period

Peoplesoft FSCM.

For Subsystem AP , If we use Lag days (-3 ) to close the Books 3 days earlier. For example FY 2023 Period 1 Lag days -3 ( both Begin and END Lag days ) then Period will be opened form 28 Dec 2022 till 28 Jan 2023 and 2023 Period 2 Lag days -3 ( both Begin and END Lag days ) then Period will be opened form 29 Jan 2023 till 25 Feb 2023.

Now if a Invoice is posted with Accounting Date 29th Jan 2023 , Does Journal will be created under FY 2023 Period 2 ?
