How to fix deadlocking error when multiple journal entries are getting edited, posted

Hello we are on PeopleTools 8.60 and DSCM 9.2 Image 46. Database is SQL Server 2019 and WIndows Server is also 2019. Whenever we try to process multiple general ledger journal entries simultaneously, one of the entries will go to 'No Success' with the following error:

File: C:\PT860P05C_2304031456-retail\peopletools\src\psappeng\aedebug.hSQL error. Stmt #: 1851 Erro r Position: 0 Return: 8601 - [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server][SQL Server]Transaction (Pro cess ID 71) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadloc k victim. Rerun the transaction. (SQLSTATE 40001) 1205 Failed SQL stmt: SELECT COUNT (*) FROM PS_JP_PST2_TAO WHERE PROCESS_INSTANCE = 534439
