Change Ship-To Location on a Purchase Order for long lead items

We are on EBS 12.2.12. Often, we procure items where we do not know the final location where items need to be shipped out to, as the project location are yet to be determined/setup. As the lead time for few items are quite long, we must send the purchase order to Supplier well in advance. When we know the final location where the items are to be received, we go back to the approved Purchase Order (PO) and update the ‘Ship-to Location’ on the purchase order, make a revision and communicate the same to the Supplier.
