Can i use 2 separate SSO authenticators on PeopleSoft?

Hello, we have a requirement to enable PeopleSoft to few of our outside vendors. We were using mainframe all these days and that is about go away.

For internal we are using Active Directory. For all these external vendors since we will need extra layer of security, we want to bring in 3rd party apps like Duo / Okta / ..

Now my question is, can we have both these SSO authentication enabled simultaneously (and have internal users use AD authentication and external use 3rd party) or will it have one be only one

Please advise. Also if there is any existing ticket please point me to that
